Canada Wood, Supported Korea Wood Frame Construction Training
The 10th Korea Wood Frame Construction Training Program was held in Cheongju from June 26 to July 8 in support from Canada Wood. Canada Wood sponsored wood materials, textbooks, and lecture fees for 50 participants who donated the completed wood frame houses to a welfare facility for the disabled. The director of Canada Wood Korea Office, Mr. Jeong, said that anyone can learn how to build a wood frame house with basic training. He mentioned that this program allowed people to experience the advantages of wood frame houses as well as to contribute to welfare of the community.
Canada wood, which initiated its operation in Korea in April, is a non-profit organization that promotes the excellence of Canadian wood products to consumers and industry experts.
